About Me
I have been an international entrepreneur for the better part of my career and have met people of many cultures, both rich and poor. I have lived and worked in the USA, Canada, Europe and the Middle East. Upon retirement, I chose to live in Germany. I live in a small village in southwest Germany in the Wine region. I am involved locally with the grape harvest and am a member of the Men's choir and the church choir. I enjoy reading, writing and hiking.
My first Book, To Beirut and Back - An American in the Middle East, is a true story. It begins with an entrepreneurial journey that ends up in Beirut, Lebanon. Getting caught up in Lebanon's civil war and leaving after the 27th cease-fire. Returning a year later seeking a comeback gives the reader insights in the mentality of the people of the region and the ever-present problem of the Middle East conflict.
My second book, They
Plotted Revenge Against America, was inspired by America's invasion of
Iraq. The weapon of revenge is a virus to infest birds and fish that will mutate to humans. My third book co-authored by Lynn Jett, "Journey Into the Past" is a time-travel romance novel with the setting among the medieval castles of the Rheinland/Pfalz.
